04 Cavalier power steering fluid

Owners manual says to use GM power steering fluid. I know car companies will use different fluid. Some Ford Explorers used Type F automatic transmission fluid while the transmission used Mercon ATF. I think MOPAR uses a certain type and i'm sure Honda can only use power steering for a Honda. All I want to do is buy some from O'Reilly's or Autozone. What fluid can I use? Thanks!!

Re: 04 Cavalier power steering fluid

You can use any generic type of power steering fluid in a cavalier. Stay away from the stuff that has stop leak in it, though.
