92 G20 no idle, stalls

I am helping a friend with a van that came to him from 3 other shops and a dealer.
The van has had a new map sensor, iac, new ecm with most current software flash, new egr, new plugs, wires, and hours of troubleshooting. Symptoms include surging idle, cutting out, and no power. When at idle with map unplugged runs fine. Holding egr slightly open does same thing. Computer shows tps and iac in range and working fine, coolant sensor had been replaced after finding it went from 89C to -40 with a wiggle of the harness and replacing did not stop it. Timing was checked ok. Tbi gasket replaced no change.Checked for slop in the timing chain, there was none. Vacuum is good and voltage is good.
I am going to check the fuel pressure and filter tomorrow, this thing is a pain in the ASSSSSS!

Did fuel pressure testand supply side showed 5 psi!!! Removed fuel filter was okay dropped tank and found a split in the hose that went between fuel pump and supply line....would idle but not run in gear... new fuel pump with new rubber hose fixed it!!!!!! F-ing Hurray!!!! Hope this info helps some one else before they get as mad as me!!!
