Jimmy to Blazer conversion. (98+)
Need a little help doin a conversion here. I just want to replace the front end to look like a blazer. Has anyone ever done this? I've noticed a couple things that stand in the way. The jimmy's have a dip in the front bumper as the blazer's do not. The hood is also a little different cause it's got the same dip in it as the bumper does.
I'm not worried about the hood. it's the bumper that i'm worried about. The bumper on my jimmy just pops right off. it's like a cover for the actual bumper. But on a blazer there is a removable lower valance and a bumper that does not just simply pop off. I can't seem to find a replacement for my bumper that doesn't have that dip in it. I know i'm gonna have to get headlights, corner lights, and a grill. I'm just trying to keep from replacing anything i don't have to. I'm thinkin about getting some body filler to fill in the dip and painting it. How easy would this be? |
