blown engine
hi everyone, i'm new to this but i really just have a car problem/question - i have a 2002 chevy cavalier with approx 91000 miles or so on it and this past friday the engine blew up. not cool right? but i've been hearing from people that it's a fairly common problem for my engine and i just wanted to see if any one had any more substantial info regarding this - my brother said he thought there might even have been a recall for an "engine oil delivery malfunction"? for my car(make/model/yr) but i can't find any info to support that - so i thought it couldn't hurt to ask all of you - please get back to me if you have any knowledge about anything i'm saying (i'm auto-mechanically challenged)  thanks in advance i'd appreciate any help
