Lux Style FD3S

I would first like to say sorry for blurry pictures that occur...

Inspiration via Looking FD3S (Modified Magazine April '07 issue)

Started with Aoshima C-West FD3S kit (1/24)

Had this kit lying around for a good year and a half so I decided to get the ball rolling. Painted gloss black, still have to wetsand imperfections.

Advan RG wheels next to stock '99 spec wheel.

Advan RG shots minus any aero.

C-West aero I will modify. Rear bumper misted with Testors 1631 burgandy purple metal flake.

To be continued.

Re: Lux Style FD3S

Yay.

I also plan to modify the C-West aero as shown...Filling in these holes/vents and smoothing:

Re: Lux Style FD3S

Question...Stationary headlight kit or standard pop-up lighting?

Random shot of aero/interior and exhausts.

Blurry, sorry. Shots of the Weds Kranze LXZ. I got two sets so I could extend the rear pair of wheels/tires.

Paint idea...

And fitment of the wheels, once again blurry but you get the idea.

Re: Lux Style FD3S

Glass, MSC inspired decal placement.

Time to make a roof spoiler out of an OEM FD3S trunk spoiler...

Primered...Was going to use it as is on the trunk:

Nahhhh, roof spoiler time:

Checking placement on car now:

This is looking interesting! Make sure you paint the inside window trim. I like the Do-Luck looking spoiler on that car in the Mag!
