Grand Prix Vs. Chevy 2500
so yea last night after a Car show, me and my friend raced our super fast cars(jk). Hes got a Chevy 2500, i think its a 2002. I got a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.1 V6, i thought i would be able to beat him, apparently not though. He won by like 1 car length, but it was kinda Slight Decline on a hill, so mabey it was just the weight of that truck being pulled down by Gravity

Re: Grand Prix Vs. Chevy 2500
Well it's got a good motor in that truck, either a 6.0L LQ4 (325hp) or a LQ9 (345hp) if it's a HO 6.0L.
Make good torque. Unless it's diesel, then they make just monster torque.

Re: Grand Prix Vs. Chevy 2500
I raced a modded Duramax diesel and it gave me a fairly good run for my money. Thing was loud as hell but did not keep up on the top end to well.

Re: Grand Prix Vs. Chevy 2500
Nice Race. My workhorse is a GMC Savana 2500 with 5.0 V8 220hp and it's not that bad on power. From the start is a little slow but when second gear kicks in it's a monster.
