I have a 2003 Mazda MPV. The wipers go in opposite directions - that is, one starts in the center of the windshield and goes up to the left. The other starts at the right and goes up and right (verticle). As opposed to both wipers going in the same direction, that is, up and to the left.
The Bosch Icon wiper blades seem to be highly rated and seem to be better designed for snowy/icy winter weather.
Bosch makes wipers with an A or a B after the model number (size). The MPV takes
24" blades, but Bosch only makes a 424A, no 424B. I think the difference is the orientation of the wind spoiler which I presume is to help force the blade to stick to the windshield.
Would I be better of getting a smaller (
22") blade for the pasenger side (422B) that has the correct wind spoiler orientaton for the passenger side. Or should I get a
24" Siblade or Walmart silicon Tripledge for the passenger side. I don't care so much whether they are cosmetically matched, I just wanted the best function. Or would the 424A work Ok on the passenger side?
