performance chip for 98 Civic??
i was wondering do they make performance chips for 98 Civic DX if they do i couldn't find it anywhere if anyknow any web site plz let me know..

have you tried jet performance. they make chips for lots o cars.

waste of money..
do all the other things to it first... chips can be expensive and sometimes casue more pain than gain.. i know people who got them and they killed the computer...which ended up hurting the performance... id rather get a cam..header..exhaust ..intake.. |

just get a hondata piggyback...............it's not that expensive either and it's a pretty cool little device.........

If your car has no more than I/H/E, then rechipping your ECU is pointless. It's only going to help if you have changed your cams, headwork etc and need to change vtec crossover and redline.
My advice is don't spend money on that DX engine and concentrate on a future engine swap |
