Anyone else do this?
Do any of you ever catch yourself verbally speaking internet slang?
I've noticed a few times when I'll say something like "w00t!", "teh", "j00", and once, I even said "LOL"... This bothers me.

ill be talkin to someone and theyll say something and ill be like lol and once i said somethin and then i said JK i was scared and when typing like IMPORTANT stuff..like articles and papers i always catch myself writing ... u or y or @

I always imagine real life meetings with internet people having a lot of "L. O. L." and "L. M. A. O."

As for me, it's not a regular occurrence, but once in a while, something like "roxor!" just slips out from nowhere, and since none of my friends are very internet savvy, they look at me like this: :huh:

I've caught myself more recently saying "w00t"
 It really scared me. I've called people "PITA" before, too, and they definately look at me strangely.Mostly my spoken English is very different from my internet or even paper-writing English.
