Distributor ??

I have been beating my head against the wall looking for a distributor with the ignition module inside of it. I went to some salvage yards and all had the pick up only inside.

Any ideas on why ? Did my 90 miss a recall ? All of the ones I looked at had a different coil ( mine is the can type )

I thought my dist. would easy to find as it is shown in my Haynes manual.

I went to O 'reilly's and ordered a dist $ 196.00 and it looked likr the ones from salvage...........
so I ordered the module alone $ 176.00 -- it is hard to tell from the pic they if it is rhe same....

Any input ?
