Re: 1994 Gmc Sierra Sea Foam Question

Using the booster hose was for the multi point injection. The seafoam should be put in the throttle body throat while it is running , pour in very slowly the recommended amount and then shut off for the time listed on the label. When you start it up make sure that you are in an open area that will allow for nasty exhaust. I did this to my 95 and the exhaust turned greyish blue for almost 10 minutes. It really did help for my pickup. You can also just pour it into this gas tank. Either way works, pouring it straight through the throttle body will do more good though.

Re: 1994 Gmc Sierra Sea Foam Question

Ok, could i poor 1/3 in the tb and then poor the remainder in the crank case and buy another bottle to poor in the gastank at my next fillup? And, with doing it through the tb should i poor untill the engine stalls or just poor enough to where i think it's the right ammount, i just dont want to risk bending a rod or anything of that nature that will ruin the engine.

I was also told that i could sprinkle water slowly in the tbi and it would be almost like a steaming affect. is that true?

Re: 1994 Gmc Sierra Sea Foam Question

I would put about 1/2 can down the intake, and a can + 1/2 in a full tank of gas. If you put it in the oil be sure to drain and refill after a couple hrs operation. (IMO) It trashes the oils viscosity. It does work great though..
