computer chip in 07 silverado...

in the 5.3L theres a chips that once you get above 99mph the motor shuts down. anyone know how to go about gettin that out of there ?
any clues are appreciated. thanks

It's a completely seperate unit man. I doubt the car shuts off..that would be dangerous...

its a fuel interupt, not a car shut off.
once you get below 97, it turns the fuel back on.

you can remove it with any ecm flash unit.

before you do though, be sure to get new tires that are speed rated for speeds over 99 mph.
they are a bit hard to find in truck sizes.
