Custom machining

Does anyone do custom machining? I need some parts for a 1/24th McLaren M7a like brake rotors, shocks, trumpets, and maybe a few pieces for the suspension.
Thanks,
Nic

Contact GTmike400 to see if he can help you out, he's got a lathe and a ton of free time.

Re: Custom machining

Arrowhead Aluminum did some custom work for me a few years ago. Most of the parts you mentioned should be available from commercial sources.

Re: Custom machining

Machined parts may look terrific, but often there are other easier ways that can look just as good.

Terrific machined looking shocks can be made with telescoping aluminum tubing- cheap and easy to find at most hobby shops.

Klutz_100 found a fabulous source of intake trumpets for his Super 7 build- search on 'sixes and sevens'.

And as for brakes, will they be visible in the wheels?

I have no free time at all anymore. Ladyfriend, work, raceteams, no time. Sorry. Last time I touched a model was way over a month ago.
