99 Cherokee Wont Start

Hi I Have A 99 Jeep Cherokee And Wont Start, Check Spark No Spark, Check Dist Wires And Plug All Good, put A Test Light On The Coil No Power From Coil Or Plug Before The Coil, So I Pulled The Interior Dash Under The Steering Wheel Down And Test All Ignition Wires Under There, There Was Power There. I Also Have A Remote Starter On The Vehicle, And Power Going In And Out Of All The Connection. Im Stumped, Any Ideas Would Be Great. Thank You Rick

Cool Re: 99 Cherokee Wont Start

Are you saying it cranks, but won't start?
Or...it won't crank and won't start.

Use a voltmeter, so you can have an idea of poor connections or just low battery voltage.

That remote starter could be bad or have a bad connection. Again, use a voltmeter to trace.

Re: 99 Cherokee Wont Start

That is probably Ok. The last digit is most likely a version change. Did you get it new or refurished?

If it is used and refurbed, they might have reflashed the firmware, but at any rate it is close enough.
