Re: Her Turbo Civic

you have done a lot of goodness to that civic, its obvious too.

I like the color scheme. Not at first, but you pulled it off pretty well, so its likeable. I like bland full racing type of a look, which can be boring.

Love the full race style manifold, great execution. Dip stick is a killer addition. Your plumbing looks realistic, good work there too.

The sunglasses and pine freshener are pimp. All the bits in the interior, like the V-AFC, AEM e-manage I assume? cans, magazines, etc.. came out really well.

Your hood should close all the way.

Re: Her Turbo Civic

lots of details
nice
one advice though
you might want to paint the edge of the clear parts black..to have a realistic look

he might, but not all cars have a black edge to their headlamps.
the ek civic does not.
if you're going to make it more realistic, you might want to try some clear/smoke to give the illusion of shadow.
As someone else said, there are a couple of areas that look a bit messy.
Body paint also looks like it might be a bit heavy/thick but that might just be the flash catching the pigment.
COuld also have made the wheels sit better in the arches.
Not too sure about the unpainted engine and suspension parts.

Re: Her Turbo Civic

The engine is molded in gray I painted it FL- White. as for unpainted suspension parts they also come in gray I painted thim GL- Black thin Plated thim with Alclad II (Chrome ALC 107). your right the paint is thick my bad. the hood not closing ( the inter cooler was to big for the car so it pushed things up I made the turbo to big and it made the car radiator move back un der the engine bay mmmm I for get what that part is called the thing where the hood lach is can't remember it. well the wheel at that time I though I had them right till I put the body on. I had no time to do thinks right at the time I was going to a show. I know I know do things for you self and If I'm going to do that now I don't cair if the will don't look the way some one else likes they look ok to me. Thanks for the hints you all. Oh yah I will try the light thing both way (Smoke & black lines)
Thanks again.

Re: Her Turbo Civic

Hey, the another Civic of your girlfriend is done! Nice build, I like it thought its obviously "girlie" in this color... Nice job on the details (sunglasses, air freshener, pack of drinks, the leather bag) too! Will you post pictures of the 2 Civics (I mean with the another black one) together? I'd love them...
