Big brake upgrade??

Ok i've seen this guy around my town. he has an 11 sec gsr turbo'ed rex. He has 15 inch rims in the front and has some huge brakes on them! I thought its not possible to do a big brake upgrade on 15's?? And why would he put bigger rims on the back ? Does it improve anything?

If he's just drag racing he doesn't need all that big brake crap. Soundsl like lots a money going nowhere.

Well its daily driven? I'm sure if we drive an 11 sec car daily driven i would want extra stopping power as well.

he is probably using the fastbrake.com kit...shit is hot, 11 inch in the front and 11.4 inch in the back, you can use 15's as well, and only cost around 300 for the mounting kit, not including rotors...

300 bucks its not a bad price. Now can anyone answer this. Why would someone put bigger rims in the back on fwd cars?

Big brake Kits for my REX?

Ok, so what company makes big brake kits for 89 CRX Si's, cause i've check AEM, HP Racing, Stoptech, and Wilwood but they dont make anything for my car. I went to that Fast Brake place, but I couldnt find any kits. also, even if i do find the kits, what rotors would i use? Would any ones work. Plz Lemme know, thanx. Oh yeah, I'm hoping to do the rear disc swap (as soon as i get the 90-91 CRX Si trailing arms, cant find em anywhere), so i'll need the rear too. Thanx again

Yes, it looks nice, but I don't think that that kit will even fit my car, will it?
