Summer/Winter Driving

How many drive yours cars all year round in every type of weather; Summer, Winter, Fall, Spring. If you only drive it certain months what month do you take it out of storage for some reference.

Re: Summer/Winter Driving

mine's a fair weather car only. Ive used is in rain and took it out in the first snow last year (just to have some fun ) but they salt here during the winter, so i store it. I usually wait until the first really good few rains to wash all the salt off the road before taking it out in spring.

Rain its very good in, but it was scary in the snow. Most likely becasue i have summer tires and a heavy foot.

Re: Summer/Winter Driving

Unfortunately my 3000GT is my daily driver. I only say that because I HATE taking it out in the snow, I love it too much and the thought of salt tearing it up breaks my heart.

Re: Summer/Winter Driving

I drive the VR4 in the Spring/Summer/Fall and store it for Winter.

When I had the SL, I drove it all year round. Just wash it at least once a week or a couple times a week and you'll be fine. These don't rust very easily like some cars.
