96 sc2 dies when braking

i have a 96 sc2 manual trans. when i apply the brakes the electrical system flutters and occasionally kills the engine. i figure its a ground issue, but dont know where to strat to find the problem. lookin for some help

It could be a ground issue. To be sure, take it to a Auto parts store and have then check your system. Most do it for free.

Do not be surprised that your alternator is acting up and maybe even because your serpentine belt is not tight enough pointing to the tensioner.

There is a number of possibilities based on your symptoms.
