quick headers question?
ive looked at the FAQ and ive even asked simular questions before..but i have my sohc headers coming in tomorow and im still a lil worried about the EGR block off plates..my question is..since i have a second gen car, the FAQ said second gens get a CEL..is CEL bad for the car in any way? can i run the car with it on and it wont do any damage? i know for inspection reasons you need it off..but i would have to take the headers off for inspection anyways...i know the FAQ says something about a resistor in the EGR..but im kinda lost on that one??? any help would be appreciated

mmmm i dunno why itd come on if you are gettin new headers.... i took off my exhaust on my 3kgt only running open down pipe HAHA yea... bad choice seein as a month or so later i messed up my oxygen sensors MAF sensor and clogged up my EGR valve.... can you say EXPENSIVE??? but yea i dont think itd come on if you are jus swappin out the headers... i dont know but thats jus my

ok..so now that the EGR valve is blocked off...what do you do with the line that went off of it??? just block that up to from where it came from?
