01 MC SS Service Traction System

I've looked through many pages of this thread and realized that I'll probably have to take this car down to the local Chevrolet dealership and have it diagnosed on their ABS system analyzer to find out precisely what is causing the code "Service Traction System" to come up every time I start it. The ABS light stays on and the traction control stays off. You guys (ladies) that have had to take your Montes to the shop to have this repaired.....what did it turn out to be, in the end? I'm just curious, and would like to prepare for the worst .

Thanks in advance for any feedback, it's greatly appreciated! Bill

Good and bad. The one i went to in Staten Island was horrible. The one i went to in sayreville new jersey was great. Nice people and fixed it the first time. So all together 8/10.

I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT also. It did the same thing. I never have gotten it fixed as it still stops fine. I was told it was probably a ABS sensor. I'm not sure of the cost, but if you find out, could you let me know as well. Thanks
