Smell of gas
Hello All
A few days ago I started to smell gas coming from my car. I can't figure out where it's coming from. I don't see any leaks anywhere. Any suggestions???

Re: Smell of gas
check further for leaks? it could be your evap system leaking also, the evap is what deals with fumes. check for any sort of emissions shit around the fuel tank and in the engine bay, check for cracks in these.

Re: Smell of gas
the nipple for the hose that goes to the tank on the evap. cracked and it made my friends car smell like gas. lol even made him smell like gas.
Also when you install a high flow cat/test pipe/gutted cat, the car seems to smell more of gas

Re: Smell of gas
check the seal on your fuel pump sometimes those get weathered and dry up. just add some sealant to it and you'll be good
