The best times I have seen for a 94-98 gt, is a 14.9 at the local dragstrip on a 1996 GT. Bone stock, original paper airfilter and air silencer. Now I have not personaly seen a 99 or newer mustang GT run, but car and driver rates it at about a 14.2 on a 5-speed.

i raced 4 differant 99& up mustangs this summer...the fastest was a 2001 w/ cold air ind., h pipe, flowmaster, and short shifter...it ran a 14.5. when a magizine advertises a time it is usualy about 2 to 4 tenths faster that what you can run. i dont know if its because they have pro drivers or what. i have a 2002 acura rsx type s. they advertised my car to run a 14.7 stock. i could only get it to run a 15.2...i dont know why they do that. it pissed me off when i ran that as my fastest time! but anyway i think that a stock 99up will run about a 15.5 or so...because i can beat one... (these times could also be slower than expected because summer in mississippi is kindof muggy and hot...)

My guess would be mid to low 15s, since thats what my Si does, and i seem to run very even with them.

Here in ky, high 14s to low 15s is the norm. It all depends on driver.

A good driver should be able to net high 14's, depending if the car can hook up and track conditions.

96-98 I've heard as low as 14.9.
99-02 I've read 13.7 but I've only seen from a stock car, 14.2s.

all with 5speeds.

With slight mods, I have seen a 99 Cobra run 11.85. That's Bob Cosby's car, of course.

Air Filters, pullies, gears, solid rear axles, ECU tweeks, and exhaust. Nothing major.

Pretty bad times! I think if you had addressed that exhaust system you would have net better times! There's no need for 3" exhaust unless you pushing more then 400hp. And only running cats, I bet you were losing some torque.
