95 security light

my 1995 grand prix security light goes on every once and a while while im driving. what does that mean? it seams to have started after i put in an aftermarket keyless entry system. i also put in a new stock headunit. not sure if that could cause this since i am still using the stock key.

I have a 95 Grand Prix also where the security light is blinking when you turn key but car will not start. I replaced the key but that didn't help. Could it be the ignition? Someone please help!
