need help...methanol injection install

I just purchased a Coolingmist 150 PSI methanol water injection kit from a friend, and now I can't figure out where to put the spray nozzle. I have a 2002 GTP with the stock intake assembly. I was looking into mounting the nozzle in a throttle body spacer, but I could not find one. I would just knock a whole in the intake pipe, but I would have trouble sealing it off and i didn't want to mount it in front of the MAF. Anyone have any suggestions? Any advice would be very much appreciated.

So, all I have to do is drill and tap a hole in the side of that throttle body spacer, and it will work just fine? Thanks for your help.

should work. The same way you can add nos pretty much in some applications. Let us all know how the injection helps performance! good luck!

Re: need help...methanol injection install

i've got a good one here. It's a plate made by thrasher for a NOS setup, but it should work for w/i too. Of course now I have to wait for the wife to allow me to buy it. She says we are broke. I say she is crazy.

http://www.thrashercharged.com/l67_htm/nos.shtm

now i'm having a debate about the bottle situation. I was thinking that i would take a windshield washer fluid bottle and put it in the fender on the other side so that i can use a bigger bottle that is more hidden. should i be able to put a factory washer fluid bottle in the other fender, or is there no way to swap it around?

Re: need help...methanol injection install

I have done quite a bit of reading about water methanol kits. The general consensus from what I saw was that putting the injector before the supercharger is bad, and that it needs to go AFTER the s/c. It was said the the injection process can 'taint' the s/c and that it would cause problems given enough time.

I also would like to run this system, but I am a little miffed about having to drill/tap the lower intake(?) in order to 'properly' set up the system.
So can anyone here cast some light on how to use water meth safely?

BTW Frekey it seems that link leads to an un-listed item/page now?
