crankshaft position sensor

Where can I buy the crankshaft position sensor magnet for a 1986 Ninty-Eight 3.8. This is all the garage can see to be wrong since they check everything else. When the timing chain was replaced they removed the magnet and it fell apart, they put it back together but then it wouldn't start so after trying still nothing so this is whats left to try and they said they can't find one. So any help is appreciated.

Re: crankshaft position sensor

You'd better ask for the camshaft sensor magnet & it won't prevent the engine from starting.
