Hesitation???
I have a '95 Balzer that is going to have 170,000 miles really soon.
My problem that I am having is that when you hang out around 1500 RPM there is hesitation. You can excelerate through this hesitation without a problem but the hesitation will continue if you stay at 1500 RPM. I had this problem last summer then all of a sudden it stopped hesitating through the winter and it just started doing it again over the last few weeks. Any ideas on what it could be. It doesn't do it all the time but it does happen a lot. Service engine soon light has been on FOREVER, codes are: P0340...cam shaft sensor P1442 Auxiliary Emission Control Nothing wrong with the truck except for the hesitation |

Re: Hesitation???
Did you try clearing the codes and seeing if they return? As for the hesitation, when was the last time it has had a tune up? How is the fuel pressure on it?
I would venture to guess that the problem could be a sticky EGR valve. Unplug your EGR valve and go for a drive, is the problem still there? The reason I say this is because I had a similar issue with mine, and it was the EGR valve. |
