Problem after '99 Lifters Install??!!

i finished the installation of '99 lifters and i just started my car, and now there is a sort of knocking noise coming from the plenum area. i will post a video in a couple minutes, but for now, can anyone help please? ive read a little about "knock", but not sure if that can happen as a result of replacing the lifters... someone help please

did you remember to "prime" the lifters (ie let them soak in oil) before installing them? if you didnt, air might be trapped in them and cause some noise.

Yup sounds like air inm the lifters to me.

haha yea i primed them but not as good as i should have, so i let it idle for a while and all is well now! thanks for the responses guys, finally no more damn LIFTER TICK!!! this week=downpipe coming should be very easy

i just got it right now!!! the mailman was letting go of the box at my door when i pulled into the driveway hahaha....its a 3sx one i got it from a guy on 3si....looks fine, dirty of course but functional so im gonna go put some PB on those bolts right now then go back a couple minutes later to put it on...ill tell you how it went...
