Smile Weird Carfax -- please help interpret

Hi,

I got problem understanding the carfax below. The car has clean title but its carfax is so weird.

1) The first owner only had the car for 1 yr and 9 months since 2002. But the car was not sold to second owner until 9/2006. Somethings were missing from 3/17/2004 to 7/26/2006 (between two auto auctions). What do you think?

2) The first owner was a major rental company. But the car in the auto auction on 3/16/2004 was listed as repossession! A major rental company should have enough money to pay the loan (or they may not need to pay it) and its car should not be repossessed. How do you interpret this?

Thank you for your help,
Ming.
