i have a 95 pontiac bonneville se with 146,000 miles on it. I think its great. small repairs mostly, maintence and upkeep, only big thing was fuel pump, filter, which happens on any car as it gets old.

See sig. for mileage on mine. If it's in good shape and the uim and lim has been replaced recently and it drives and shifts as it should then go for it. I actually enjoy driving my 95 more than my 02.

Re: for 1500 is it worth it

If it's in god condition, I'd say that's a fair price for a 12 year old car that has a generally good track record for longevity. There are plenty of other Bonnevilles out there to get parts from to keep it going and new retail parts aren't that expensive. The price range seems good to, I purchased my '95 Roadmaster about 18 mos. ago for the same price w/ 126,000 miles on it.
