Yo;
If you read my tranny thread, you'd know that my PS is leaking bad because of a rusted or bad part where a little PS fluid line comes out from the rack-n-pinion steering 'bar'. I've been trying to take liquid weld and sqeeze it up there to try to stop the leak, but its a weird spot right above the front sway bar. It's hard to get in there. So the leak is less with the liquid weld, but I need it more. Do you guys have any suggestions on what I can stick up there, like clay or gum, that will stop the leak and stay up there? I've been running PS fluid leak stopper thru the system, and it just basically leaks out the whole way.

Re: Power Steering Question
You need to get some plumbers putty for it. That should work good...
Oh, and sorry for the phonecall last night/this morning... I'm sure it was just ridiculous...

Re: Power Steering Question
Crazy. I drank last night, but didn't get drunk. I was apparently sober enough to start my own business with my guy Kevin and go to FedEx/Kinkos at 2am and print up business cards. Good times. We ended up started a computer repair, web design, graphic design company. Got a couple jobs going on this week.

Re: Power Steering Question
This really doesnt help your problem. Lol, but I have had problems with my power steering also so I just wanted to vent my frustration for a second. First the resevoir busted and was leaking fluid so I JB welded it..lol. I didnt do it good so it still leaked. So I took the one off of my plymouth colt vista for the time being and ran that one. Then the bolt that goes through the waterpump to hold on the alternator tensioner bracket to the block broke off inside the block so I had no tension on the alternator and the belt would squeel soo bad. So I made a new bracket so that I could attach the tensioner bracket to another bolt somewhere else. That worked beautiful for about 2 days then that bolt broke also. So I was just like F-it and I ripped the whole PS system off. Took me a day to get used to it. Its not too bad actually. I love my car with no power steering! I have soo much more control and feel for the car at speed its awesome. I won't ever put PS back on that car. It's so skeet skeet without it. I love it.
