12.86@103 allmotor b16a crx hf daily driven
just ran this personal best time last week saturday
cold weather mid 50's ran consitant 13.59's@104 w/205-50-15's street tires 60ft times was really crappy due to launch and cold track conditions.best 60ft w/22x8-15's slicks was 1.86 60ft we ran a slower et at route 66 dragway in joliet Ill at the battle of the imports w/1.75 60ft ran at 13.1@102 best et so far 12.86@103 allmotor b16a first gen w/factory y1 lsd trans specs- head work none stock head stock cams and valve train advance timing w/100 octane at 18 degrees stock cam gears stock ignition running colder plugs though. stock b16a manifold and stock air box removed head light and air filter. custom bottom end- 89mm crank w/cutsom crower rods and custom arias pistons to fit this application youll spend 2500+on a jun or spoon stroker kit or even fully built motors, we spent a total of 2400 to build this from the ground up engine trans ect.. we were hoping to run high 13's w/slicks at the battle but low 13's on slick damn you bet we were happy.this motor looks completly stock from stock air intake to stock exaust manifold we ran open header w/jdm 4-1 w/ported inlets let me know what you guys think peace out allmotor love. And you live in Michigan? I'd love to see the look on the faces of the unsuspecting Detroit iron lovers you face up against.
![]() How many times have you been asked how much "Naws" you running?...and how many times do they call you a liar when you tell them you're running all-motor?

sup guy's yeah ive been asked how much nos im running
or if it has any force induction what so ever. but i say its naturally aspirated and people are like damn!!! yeah the v8 guys at the local tracks here are actually pretty cool and they like seeing fast little "4bangers" so no need to to go pick a race let the race come to you... peace. |

im not saying bs but why is that integra in turbo magazine only running like a 13.2 it has a more built motor and individual throattle bodies i understand the power to weight ratio. its compression ratio is like 13:1 its a b18c5

well... like you said... power to weight ratio has a huge part of it... i mean your comparing the 88 crx hf that weighed in stock between 1,800 and 1,900 lbs, thats one light car, to a teg... and then you have to take in the driver factor, and how the engine is actally built...

The magazines all had a 10,000 U.S. Dollar limit to modify a 2000 Civic Si, each provided by Honda to each competitor. They each had to win in a car show, a quarter-mile run, and road course race to find the over-all winner. All the other magazines went with forced-induction with Jackson Racing superchargers and giving their cars show looks with wings, kits and crap like that. Super Street went with all-motor with a JUN built motor and the only show-piece they added was a Honda Optional Equipment Type-R style wing(they were required to have something from Honda Optional on their cars). SS stripped a lot of stuff from their car...losing about 200 pounds off the car. The bottomline is that the N/A car weighing-in at about 2300lbs beat the 2500lb supercharged cars...running at a best of 14.1 on street-tires. Now imagine an 1800lb car on slicks... Just 'cause a car has forced-induction doesn't mean it'll be a 12-second V8 killer. I remember beating a turbocharged Civic hatch with my all-motor b16 2nd-gen Integra. His car was in bad need of a tune. Oh and those magazine cars are often loaded with appearance-enhancing stuff that just weigh the car down.

that 103 mph seems kinda low for a 12.86 run specially with a not so great 60' time.
How much does the car weigh? Where in the RPM band does the car make power? How much torque/hp? nice times btw.

I was thinking that to. That mph is more consitent with a mid to low 13. And if he was spinning on the 60ft he should be even higher.

well the car is pretty light....the lighter the car the lower the MPH rite?...i don't know how much this guys crx weighs......i'm assuming he took some shit out before he hit up the track......that number does look pretty low for a 12 sec run.......but that's still GREAT numbers for all motor.....good job man
