Factory Alarm/Remote question P11
What's the deal with my factory remote/alarm unit? Seems like the range is weak and I have to sometimes push twice on each button to lock/unlock the car. I don't think that its the battery. Does anyone have the same issue?
Also, is there supposed to be an LED light blinking while the car's security is activated? Reading the manual it seems like there would be. My car doesn't have any blinking LED's. I have a 2002 G20. |

Check on top of your dash there is a black circle there It has an LED in it!
Also if you want better range hold the remote up to your chin the metal fillings in your theeth if any will act as an antena & add any were from 5' to 25' extra in distance try it no loss on your part for just trying.

thought that was from the rolling codes...I do have to press it more than one time once in a while, but not all the time. also, the range is about 60ft? not sure, but I can arm my car from inside the office.

LED alarm
I know about the little black circle on top of the dash.. I don't see any flashing LED's coming out of there no matter what. Do any of you P11 owners get the flashing LED when the system is armed?

Ours flash "SECURITY" or at least mine does.
Alos, I have 2, brand new remotes for a p11, I think you should replace them with mine |

esanmiguel . Mine does. When I arm it it flashes like every 5
secs.
