03 Dakota with cat converter problems.....

Ok for the second time my converters have taken a crap. Doeas anyone have a solution other then getting another crappy Dodge converter pipe. I was thinking about getting some high flows and making up my own pipes. but there doesn't seem to be to much room on drivers side to get thigs situated. Does anyone know what teh peak voltage is supposed to be for the rear O2. If i knew that i could gut the converter and just use resistor in rear O2 to keep it below peak voltage. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
