Angry 94 Caravan 3.3 fuse problem

I have a 94 Caravan 3.3 that an idiot tried to steal.
Had a mechanic look at it and the ignition lock and cylinder and switch seems fine.

However, the 40 amp mega fuse under the hood keeps blowing out. Need help to figure out where and why and how to fix this.

Also, was wondering how to check computer codes without any equipment. Read somewhere how to do this by using the instrument panel but cant find it again to know how to do this.

Please help!!
Lynda

You can get some basic codes by using the ignition switch. Turn the key on and off three times on the third time leave the key on and the check engine light should flash. Count the number of flashes. 55 means no additional codes. To properly scan the computer however you will need to get an OBDII scanner. If you take it to Autozone they will scan it for free as long as the CEL is currently on.

As for the fuse problem sorry I can not help.

good luck
