97 corolla a/c question.

The a/c clutch keeps cycling on and off every few seconds.When the clutch is engaged,the air is cold,but then it constantly cycles on and off.any ideas?

Hello.Your problem may be low refridgerant in the system.Take it to an A/C shop,or you can recharge it yourself.You can buy the refridgerant and a guage set almost anywhere. Try an auto parts store or Wal-Mart.Good luck...Diesel 1962
