stalling while running

recently at an auto repair shop i overheard a customer complaining about his Jeep stalling while he was driving it. it reminded me of a problem that i had had with my 85 jeep cherokee long ago. it died while i was in traffic - not once - but a couple of different occasions. the scariest thing! i noticed this only happened after i filled the tank up, usually the next day. i was pretty disturbed by this, to say the least, and took it to a couple of different places to have it diagnosed. no problem at the immediate time so the best they could come up with was clean the fuel injectors, etc. which i had done. no luck with solving the problem. finally i was complaining about this to a friend at work and she said that she had had the same issue. she asked me if i used SHELL gasoline - which i did- and suggested changing gas stations. no more problem. ??? who knows. i would say, try another gas if you are experiencing stalling issues and see what happens.
