Window problems in 00 GP
I just replaced the motor on my pass side window. The old one had been out for a while causing the window to roll up crooked. But for some reason the switches are not working right now. The driver side switch does not work at all on the pass side window, (it works fine with the driver side window) and the pass side switch will only roll the window up but not down. Anyone know why the switches are not working. I think the pass side switch might be bad because I noticed some of the connectors were not attached very well but I hooked them up the best I could.

Re: Window problems in 00 GP
Best thing to do is troubleshoot the switch with a multimeter checking for voltages or ohming out the switch contacts. Sounds like either a bad switch or wiring/connector problem. Bad switches is a common problem.

Re: Window problems in 00 GP
I'll try to test it though im not real good at that. I have a hard time believing that the driver side switch is bad when the driver side window works fine. Could it be a bad ground?

Re: Window problems in 00 GP
So I ordered a new switch for the pass window and it still would only roll up. So I tore my door apart and flipped around the wiring for the motor and then when I press the up button on the window it rolled down. So, the motor must be fine, it's got to be some kind of wiring problem but I really don't know how to figure out what wire is bad. Also the driver side switch still does not work at all for the pass side window.
