help!
on a nienty six jetta with the 2.0 in it what is the best way to lift up the clutch lever so that you could put the steel block on the end of the clutch cable.
any help would be greatly appreciated |

use a prybar on the end and wedge it inbetween the lever part or have someone push the clutch pedal down while you put the clip on

The clutch is self adjusting. If you push the cable all the way in, it will then pull out all the way and you can install the block easily without engaging the clutch.
