bmw 740 il 1999 dash cluster removal

How do I remove the dash to get to the cluster panel. I need to fix the led lights. Thanks

DO NOT pry on the emblem!!!!! Just pull back on the coloum lever and tilt it down, 8mm torx, that just remove the blue, black and white. DO NOT PRY ON THE EMBLEM. Than you will see the tiny lights on the back., Do you have pixel problems?

Why not gently pry on the steering wheel emblem? What problems will arrise?

It depends how far the steering wheel moves. It is not uncommon for the steering wheel to move less than one centimeter when you attempt to tilt it...trust me, I have tilt steering that doesn't tilt. I know how to fix it but haven't bothered because the wheel is at a comfortable hight for me anyway.
