Lighting /Electrical issues....88 E30 Cabrio

Greetings fellow bimmer fanatics...
Okay, here it goes...

I have a 1988 E30 cabrio that i purchased for 1600 in January. I haven't had any major issues this far. My current problem is that my glove box light will not come on. I have checked the bulb and the fuse and all is well. I did notice some plugs under the hood, on the drivers side disconnected.I will post the pics of the plugs tomorrow. As of now, O am trying to fix this little problem.. any ideas??
