Question Help

Hello All,

How is everyone? I have a question. I have a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan. The miles are high. 155.000. Until recently it was running with no problems. The about 4 months ago my car would start to jerk when I would go over 60 miles a hours. Plus when I turned on my heat it would make a squeaking noise. Then about 2 months ago my van would just stop while I was driving. It would start right up again so I left it parked. The next day when I went out to the van I saw antifreeze on the ground. It all came from the reserve bottle. There is still antifreeze in the radiator. So I did a oil change and checked the bottle out and still the was water running from the bottle. Needless to say I took the car to Pepboys and the did a chem test and said that my water pump water busted and that there was ?water in the engine and a ? about my head gasket. They referred me to the Dodge dealership and my van sat there for a week without them touching it. So I have a tow truck take it somewhere else. They stated that I needed my engine to be rebuild. Now that I have givin you the run down. My car does not over heat. I have no smoke coming from the tail pipe. My oil looks fine and when the car stops it starts right up. I had a mechanic check out my van and he said that my head gasket is not busted. Now do you think that my van needs a water pump as well. I believe the stalling is from the battery cable which needs to be replaced. Plus I basicaly need a tune up. Do you think I would need more than that?
