Swapping mirrors

Just purchased a 2002 2500 HD that has had the OEM mirrors removed, and non-power mirrors installed, (it originally had power mirrors). My question is, I have an '03 Silverado with the Power/Folding/Heat/puddle/dimming/signal mirrors on it and I want to swap them to the 2002. I don't really care if the signals etc. don't work, I just want to power adjust them I removed the mirrors and obviously the harness is different, but will they work if I just swap switches? THANKS!

Re: Swapping mirrors

Unless the moron that owned the truck before you cut the harness, it should still be there when you remove the mirrors.

Should be a simple plug and go operation.

I hope it is for your sake.

Re: Swapping mirrors

The harnesses are intact, BUT they are completely different. '02 harness has a 5 pin plug, '03 mirror has 2 separate harnesses with a total of 15 wires. I'm looking into whether I can swap out window/lock switches and take care of it (bcause the mirrors plug into the window/lock switch). Who knows.
