30 Years Ago!!!

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

We all remember this opening "crawl" scene from Star Wars. Some of us were there in the theater for when the very original (episode IV) opened and have seen each one after.

while we have all (at least i hope) have seen a little bit of the Star Wars saga (please no debates on how good episode 1,2,3 were/are) we all have a favorite part.

Tomorrow, May 25, will be the 30th anniversary that Star Wars was released to theaters. Its special effects were amazing for the time, and some say set the basic building blocks for special effects today. No matter what people say I love star wars and am a true star wars fan/geek/nerd.

who knows, maybe i'll wear a wookie costume to work tomorrow. anyways, let us all remember Star Wars.

Re: 30 Years Ago!!!

I remember catching that movie in the theater about 3 weeks after it opened back in '77. Hard to believe it was that long ago.{feeling his age as he finishes typing...}
