stupid germans
I recently aquired a 1996 jetta trek edition. it has a blown clutch so i bought a clutch kit and when i finally got the tranny apart the clutch was exploded. i put the new clutch kit in (by the way whose dumbass idea was it to bolt the flywheel to the pressureplate like that
) there was no throwout bearing that fell out and i also didn't get on in the kit. is there supposed one or what? can someone help or am I going to have to burn this jetta?thanks Last edited by niskid240; 05-24-2007 at 01:12 PM. Reason: spelling |

Re: stupid germans
the tob is on the side of the trany behind that green cap. DOnt replace it unless its making noise (which they dont)
and yea... stupidest design ever but vw used it for 20 years.... |
