stupid germans

I recently aquired a 1996 jetta trek edition. it has a blown clutch so i bought a clutch kit and when i finally got the tranny apart the clutch was exploded. i put the new clutch kit in (by the way whose dumbass idea was it to bolt the flywheel to the pressureplate like that ) there was no throwout bearing that fell out and i also didn't get on in the kit. is there supposed one or what? can someone help or am I going to have to burn this jetta?

thanks
