Re: Spraying

Your installation is most likely the cause. You want the spray behind the MAF sensor. There are kits to do the job properly. See link below.

Do you have a reprogrammed PCM module or are how are you tuned for nitrous since no mention of a powertuner?

Re: Spraying

What brand NOS kit do you have? Although the dry spray systems are designed to spray at or before the MAF many GT(L36)/GTP(L67) owners run into problems because of the way the MAF is designed into the throttle body. It is different with a MAF installed outside of the throttle body in the intake ducting like LS1s. The fuel supply has to be enriched. So the time proven work around is to spray after the MAF but the TB kit and tuning is required unless you are running like a Zex system with auto management which should enrich fuel automatically for you. I would be very careful and monitor knock retard (KR) to see what level it is at when spray kicks in.

Thats good. Best dry NOS system to use on a L67. I'm quite sure the work around will be the TB kit. It is designed to work with the Zex kit aka Smart nitrous system that people decide to get. Checkout 3800Performance.com.

***NOTE:
For those owners with supercharged vehicles, we also offer the Thrasher Nitrous Oxide Installation Kit. We highly recommend this spacer with it's threaded port, as it allows installation of the nitrous jet behind the throttle body, so nitrous is not sprayed onto the MAF sensor.
