Don't know what to call this part....

so that I may call around looking for it. Anyway, my fan spun off through my radiator today. Got the truck home (98 Sonoma 2.2l) and commenced to tearing it down. The shaft that the fan and pully bolts to came out. There's a mounting plate on the front of the engine that the shaft fits in. I have no idea what to call that part. I need to call around about finding a new one but don't know what to call it. Also, will that shaft have to pressed in?

Thanks,
Steve

Not a water pump. That is off to the side. This is a plate over the front of the engine. The alternator and AC compressor bolts to it. The fan pulley screws onto a bolt that is mounted in this plate. It looks like it has to pressed in.
