How to replace Power Steering pump on 1996?
1996 silverado. How do I replace the power steering pump? Any tricky points? Special tools?

Try to get as much of the fluid out of the reservoir. Disconnect the hoses (it's going to be messy no matter what). If you have speed sensitive steering look for wire connector at bottom rear of pump. Remove the belt amd remove the pump. Once it's out the worst part is getting the pulley off. That may require some special tools................Steve
