Speedometer Not Working

Anyone ever run into a problem with there speedometer not working and getting stuck? I have an 05 TB with about 50K miles on it and recently the speedometer has started spazing on me. One night I was driving along going 70 and it just dropped all the way to the right to like 130MPH and then with every cycle of the key turning it on and off it worked its way back to 0 little by little. Now somedays I am driving and it seems like it is about 10 mph off from what I am really doing. Anyone have anything like this happen?

Re: Speedometer Not Working

Someone sued GM over this, as it is common in ALL GM trucks/SUV's from like 03-05. Mine 05's has been dead for thousands of miles and I've never gotten around to get it into the dealer. It died somewhere between 45k miles and 50k miles. Sometimes it works, then dies. Never does it work for a whole ride anywhere. Replacing these is supposedly several hundred dollars, unless you have an extended warranty. I'm not sure whatever happend with the lawsuit, as GM still could end up having to cover the costs on replacements, as court mandated in certain areas.
