Angry Bad Ignition Coils?

Bonnieville Sse has starting performance. While the car does start it some times takes time to crank when cold. When slightly warmed the car act like it has turned over then losses power and then cranks , so i have to old the key longer. Im assuming this is because of the coils because i have put new air filters, spark plugs,PCV valve, ingition wires,02 senser, injectors clean, oil change, simi new battery

Re: Bad Ignition Coils?

Try taking an ohm meter and place probes on each of the 2 coil terminals .They should all be close in range between 5 and 8 ohms.

Re: Bad Ignition Coils?

Check the fuel pressure. If the fuel pressure regulator is going bad you can get a poor starting condition especially when the engine is warm. Should be in the 45 to 55 pound range. If it is less then the regulator or the fuel pump could be going bad.
