If i put a V-8 350 into my 2003 monte what else would i have t ochange out besides the tranny ?

Getting a 350 in there would be tons of work. You would need to change the rear end, the whole rear would have to be modified to accept a RWD setup, the front end would have to be modified to accept the engine, not to mention the middle of the car would have to be cut out from out back to the front fire wall to accept a RWD transmission. My advice unless you can part with your car for a long while and you really want to make this a project that involves a lot of skill, along with a lot of money, find yourself a RWD car and sell your monte.

Not to moention all new wirng, steering setup would have to change in the front...geez youd have a whole new car.

Save all that money and buy yourself a new(er) GTO.
